Dr. Agatha FRASER
, BA(Hon), M.Litt., PhD

Currently a professor in the Manchester City University and a post-doctoral research fellow of the Harvard University, Dr: Fraser has conducted numerous critical research on SMEs. She is not only a recognized scholar in management science but also a reputable consulting expert on re-engineering and restructuring strategies for SMEs to augment their competitiveness and improve their efficiency on corporate resources planning.


Prof. Alex NG

Prof. Ng had served Ernst & Young FEA as Executive Director of Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS). CCaSS provides a wide range of new services including but not limited to Corporate Social Responsibility risks advisory and the Low Carbon strategies consultation, such as Clean Development Mechanism (carbon credits).

Prior to joining EY, Alex had been running his own businesses in China for 26+ years and his energy company was a registered trade counterpart of PETRONAS, Malaysian national petroleum group. His consulting firm was awarded the HSBC Living Business Certificate of Excellence in 2006 to recognize its excellent CSR achievement. In addition, Alex led the overall strategic development and execution of the Mainland China activities of Business Environment Council, a highly reputable Hong Kong based NGO established by HSBC 20 years ago for the mission of leading responsible and sustainable business. He also oversaw the BEC's operations in Beijing and Shenzhen, driving the development of China projects, partnership programs and new business opportunities related to sustainability issues. He helped the organization build up very successful working relationship with a number of ministries and agencies of the Central Government.

Alex has a MSc. in Environmental Economics from Peking University. Currently, he is appointed an Adjunct Professor in Environmental Economics and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Institute of Political Development & Governance of Peking University. Alex began research on Sustainability in 1999 and completed his research on Sustainability and the Betterment of China's Socialistic Market Economy" in 2004.

In 2007, he was appointed the Deputy Director of Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") research team at Peking University. The Team completed its research on "CSR and the Prospect of China's Market Economy: the Decisions & Functions of Public Administration" and reports had been submitted to relevant central government authorities as one of the major reference materials for devising relevant public policies. It was also published by the Peking University Press in 2009. In 2008, he was appointed a member of the Experts Council in the Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development Working Unit on Ecological & Intelligent Building Technologies. In addition, Alex is also a supply chain specialist. He has been member of the UK's Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply since 1985, and Green Supply Chain is one of his priorities.

Since 1999, Alex has been nominated by the Central Government Liaison Office in HKSAR as a Special Member of the Chinese Young Entrepreneurs' Association. In March 2009, Alex was invited by China Centre for Research and Conservation of Giant Panda (CCRCGP) as a member of the International Experts Committee to advise on sustainability strategies of the post-earthquake reconstruction of the Giant Panda Reserve. In September 2009, he was invited by China Beijing Environment Exchange as expert in studying the establishment of Chinese VER trade practices and standards (Panda Standard). Currently, Prof. Ng is the Presidential Advisor of EnviroTech Foundation (, Deputy Secretary-General of Hong Kong China Chamber of Commerce ( , where the Chief Executive of HKSAR government is the Hon. Patrick POON

With more than 12 years' business and community service experience in China, Patrick has established strong connection network in China. He is currently the Committee Member of the Guang zhou Youth Federation (a quasi-official position of directorate rank), Vice Chairman of SEZ Young Entrepreneurs' Association cum Committee Member of Guangzhau Young Entrepreneurs' Association and the Chairman of the Mainland Affairs Committee of the Hong Kong Junior Chamber.

Sammy LEUNG, BSc (Hons. UK) UK, MCIOB (UK), MBA (HK)

Mr. Leung was awarded with an Associateship in Building Management & Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In addition, he was graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from the University of Reading, UK and a MBA (Finance) the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology repectively. He is also a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Building, U.K. Currently; he is also carrying part-time tutoring for a Master course of the Hong Kong Open University on the subject of Global Marketing Strategy.

Sharon S.L. YU, LLB (CHINA)

Graduated from the China University of Politics and Laws, Sharon is currently practicing lawyer in China and the Vice President of the All-China Lawyers' Association. She is a specialist in Chinese civil, criminals and commercial laws with particular expertise in foreign investment regulations. She is currently a legal advisor to a city government in Guangdong Province.
